VICTORIAN RACE WALKING RECORDS

The Athletics Victoria website currently lists Victorian and Victorian Country Track walk records for all standard categories and age groups. The list is very extensive and includes a number of new records such as those set in 2007 by Jess Rothwell. The oldest records in the book for women and men are those of Sue Cook (1977  - Victorian Open 1500m record) and Graeme Nicholls (1969 – Victorian Country 30,000m walk).

Victorian Records

The tables below list these Victorian Track Walk Records. Unfortunately, the AV website does not list roadwalk Bests/Records.

Note that the Age for Victorian Records is 'Under the age on the day of competition' – this is not the same as the Age for Australian Records which is 'Under the age as at the 31st December'.
