The Winter Season occurs between April and September and covers the
Australian winter. Conditions are generally superb for road walking
with mild winter temperatures, fast courses and lots of competition for
all age groups.
In 1991/1992, VRWC still had its headquarters on the city side of Albert Park lake and large fields contested the regular summer season walks.
